What is Poor Posture?

Poor posture is caused by sitting for long periods and repetitive computer use! Sound familiar? Once people develop bad sitting habits at work this will cause back, neck and shoulder aches often radiating down the arms and hands.

Why do we need posture coaching?

A staggering 50% of all back pain is a result of incorrect posture and that means absence from work. Or very distracted staff! Developing good posture is really easy and is the most important way of preventing back pain, headaches and general fatigue in the office.

How can we help?

At Blue Soul we know how individual people are and have experience in providing a range of solutions to suit your workforce. So we offer both workshops as a stand alone introductory event or as a programmed series of sessions. We also provide onsite clinics to work with people on an individual basis.

Back Care

Experienced Therapists deliver a tailor made session for the office environment, guiding staff through there typical office posture, bad habits & body alignment. Using corrective exercises and advice designed for the workplace they can self correct to combat existing aches and pains. Stop physical fatigue in its tracks!

Yoga

A wonderful gentle workout involving instruction on deep meditative breathing to relax the mind and stretching known as “asanas” to strengthen and tone the nervous system,releieve tension and improve circulation. Great to help people relax and ease body tension.

Pilates

Low impact body maintenance designed to stretch and strengthen the musclues, open joints and relieve tension. Pilates improves the alignment of the spine and posture by using slow controlled movements to prevent back pain. Provides life long techniques for back care.
